It's a tough call really. Sometimes I believe it does and others I'm still being very very slow. Even I can't make up my mind about it. Overall it seems to have helped however,

I wouldn't think so. With this ammount of traffic I think you might need at least 200mb

I have an 66% off offer for the first 150mb, so it's $5. But now I see, I have to pay and for normal shared hosting… Nobody was talking about it
So, how do you think, is 150mb enough for average 200k pageviewsmonth wordpress blog?

AFAIK 150mb PS is 15$ not 5$. That is above your normal hosting charges so at the cheapest and with a yearly plan you should be paying 24$ per month

Since the first week (or is it month) is now free, try as much as you want and then put it as low as you need
