[...] Last time I was delighted when the support tech gave me a simple command to help me trouble shoot but since then, all replies have been to explain me that it’s my own damn fault and this is very disheartening. To everyone considering the Private Server offering, if you’re not very technical and open to spending a few hours now and then to troubleshoot random issues that occur without you changing anything, then stay away from it and stick to simple shared hosting. [...]

Well, I hope they do. Would not make any sense otherwise.

Hm, yeah, the crosssite-stuff is off. So was it malfunctioning by itself? I did not get it completely..

Well, all of my plugins give me something I want, otherwise I wouldn't use them ;)

Most of the things you've disabled are just sidebar scripts which I've put there so as not to have the sidebar empty. My problem was not caused by them however since they run on 3rd party servers. My problem was caused by WP plugin which you cannot turn off or avoid as they work through the system.

That is exactly why I try not to litter my site with a truckload of plugins and widgets and so on. It's not the first time something this kind happened and it is unlikely to be the last. I do not know how much you use the whole stuff, but for my position, I did not even bother to click them all on allowance in NoScript, first of all because not loading gadgetster-tweeple-plugins saves time and second, because I am here for the content and for the comments. ;) Glad that you found the error, anyway. :)

Well, I wouldn't call it "survive", more like die and resurrect :P
And in any case, If I hadn't told you about supercache, you would still be down :P
