I finally got around to adding ControlNet on img2img for Lucid Creations. It’s a pity I haven’t really found anyone to help me keep this client up to date. I’m so busy with other AI Horde stuff, that I just haven’t found the time to show it the attention it deserves.
I don’t easily say this, but this song is a masterpiece!
Rap/Power Metal/Death Metal Fusion, seamless transitions and on top a video with incredible production values.
I never really hard to Falling in Reverse until now and this song has been on repeat since it came out. Just mind-blowing!
New version of Lucid Creations is out and it allows image ratings. Read the devlog.
This video says it better than I ever could!
AI Artists going against this amazing tool are only harming themselves.
Oh neat, with just one plugin, my wordpress became part of activitypub. Which means you can follow me directly from mastodon as Db0@dbzer0.com!
This post also serves as a test to see how it looks on mastodon!
Migrating to a new VPS as my current one is ancient
Thought I’d make the jump. You can find my profile here.
Probably won’t be very active there either, but it has a more radical community there which I appreciate.
If you ever considered NFTs, especially in relation to video games, you owe it to yourself to read this.
After GPUs, it seems free CI services are another victim to the cryptocurrency rush from “would-be millionaires” and the legion of scam-artists exploiting their greed.
Cryptocurrency is one of the worst inventions of the 21st century. I am ashamed to share an industry with this exploitative grift. It has failed to be a useful currency, invented a new class of internet abuse, further enriched the rich, wasted staggering amounts of electricity, hastened climate change, ruined hundreds of otherwise promising projects, provided a climate for hundreds of scams to flourish, created shortages and price hikes for consumer hardware, and injected perverse incentives into technology everywhere. Fuck cryptocurrency.Drew Devault
Man after my own heart!
Through all of this, money remains unmoved. Like Ozymandias, money still says, “submit,” even though its head is rolling around on the ground. It can’t say anything other because it is afraid. Afraid of what happens if we don’t submit. Afraid of what happens when we refuse its work regime and begin to self-organize and self-develop in order to create our own satisfactions—just as we are doing now in many ways. We are beginning to reclaim what Marx called our “rich individuality” in a new way—through local and regional autonomy.
This is pretty much the same thing I was writing in my last post. The lackadaisical way in which the plutocracy is trying to save themselves and the “economy” while disregarding the people who actually live in it, is starting to make more and more people ask them taboo questions.
